Now 5 years in business and using her techniques to build her clients revenue to $2 million, she continues to learn and take the lessons and learn as she pushes to do more. I asked Deborah what 3 things does she feel every business owner should know? She replied, “Look deep inside your brand and readjust based on your personal ethics. Embrace your story no matter how dark it may have been it will change your perspective.”
As we noted the triumps I asked Deborah about the ups and downs that always call for hard lessons. Asking her what was the hardest part for her,
“Not realizing that I had all the tools I needed to grow my business just as I have grown other peoples businesses to $2 million by using the strategies that I had all along.” Deborah is like other Entrepreneurs who utilize their skills and expertise in strategies for others but often not themselves. The mindset that shifts increases opportunities and new visions for self and our businesses. Its great to know Deborah sees her own value in it all.
Deborah has set an intention in the purpose of her business. She explained that she has done this by harvesting in life‘s lessons with the intention to lend individuals encouragement, to spark a fire within each individual, to grow their professional, business and their personal relationships. Through many years of coaching for free, she finally tapped into her own greatest gift and has been able to pull out her own life‘s lessons and apply them to her business and it has grown by leaps and bounds!
I had more to learn about Deborah…
If you could tell your 20 year old self anything, what would it be?
Never give up, never quit, and to use your mistakes as a tool in life. They will take you to the most incredible places.
Pay attention to your mistakes, they will serve you well later in life.
Stop walking into the same brick wall
What Experience or Expertise do you hold that you feel helps you be successful today?
I am a nurse that has successfully overcame some of the worst times and events in my life. I am an over comer with a design to expand other peoples vision goals in mind. I have made other businesses millions of dollars at the same time I forgot how to implement those strategies within my own business, that is until now. Embrace life and you will grow to insurmountable heights.
How you are intentionally changing the narrative?
By taking action, stepping up, and using every single mistake that I have made in my life that I can remember as a way to teach people to push through their pain to push through their obstacles to come out on top and to lean in to who they are by embracing their struggle.
What do you do to keep a healthy mental health?
I make sure to meditate and ground myself by doing some grounding work which for me consists of being near water and the ground like a beach or a forest.
What brings your peace?
Walking in perfect silence near some water and a long walk in the woods.
How do you deal with challenges?
I simply look at life as a wrestling match there are going to be some times where things are hard but if I can figure out a strategy I’m always going to come out on top.
How do you deal with grief?
I remember the good things that have happened in my life and with that person or thing that I’ve lost you can’t ever replace the memories.
What is your favorite part and worst part of what you do?
Sometimes embracing other peoples story means you are vulnerable and you will get tied into their own chaos I love to be able to help others reach peace state of mind but I have to keep my own self free from their negative energy.
Tell us a secret fact about you?
25 years ago I was addicted to drugs, I had no direction in my life, and I was also in the industry as a sex worker. I also suffer from Tourette’s syndrome as well as ADD.
If you could have anything in the world what would it be?
I would have complete harmony in every aspect of my own personal life
