“We manifest what we think about the most”
Our mind is incredibly powerful. What we think we manifest. Many people think it’s what we say or write that matters most, but in fact what matters most are the thoughts that run through our mind. Every minute, we have 35-48 thoughts and whichever of those thoughts are recurring or dominant is what you will create in the future.
Let’s say a wealthy woman begins to think pessimistically and she loses her confidence. She can be sure to lose her wealth. It was because of her certainly and positivity that she was blessed with wealth in the first place. If she loses her principles, she will lose what she manifested.
We’ve also heard opposite stories where the poor guy dreams of riches and starts to visualize his success. The next thing he knows, he has manifested it. It’s the law of the universe: we manifest what we think about the most. So if we want a positive life, we need to think positive. If we want to be wealthy, we need to think wealthy thoughts. If we want to have the best body in the world, we better stop body-shaming ourselves.
What we focus on will grow. If we choose to focus on negative thoughts that will produce a negative life. Have you ever had a friend tell you they’ve had the most terrible day and things keep getting worse? They have all of that negative energy in them—it’s no wonder things keep turning out bad. At the moment of the first obstacle, they needed to release the negative energy and just think, “If this is done, it has to be for my good, so I will continue with a positive and great day!”
We are human and we will continue to have those pesky negative thoughts that keep popping up, because our brain is so used to negative thoughts it’s almost addicted to them. What we have trained our brain to do, it will do. Now that you know you can control your brain say this, “Nope I don’t like that thought of my ex-boyfriend cheating on me delete that’s over, next thought….” And keep doing that every time and before you know it those thoughts will be gone because you no longer accept them.
It’s a choice we have always had. It’s possible to control your thoughts. No thought is more powerful than us! We have the power to select what we focus on. So focus on the positive. Focus on things that are important and which will cause you joy and success. Channel your energy into working towards your goals, and refuse to let others bring you down. Especially with their words, keep repeating the old mantra, “sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”
Don’t let words hurt you, and definitely don’t use them to hurt other people. Choose your words wisely and use them to communicate well. From positive thoughts to positive words, your actions and self-image will become more positive.
Questions To Ask Yourself
•What are negative thoughts you have of yourself that you want to get over?
•What mistakes have you made that haunt you? Can you forgive yourself today and promise to do better?
•What is a positive thought you can always refer to?
•What is a mantra you can say when you are feeling negative or depressed to snap you out of it? Mine is “With God all things are possible” when I feel something is impossible and “God loves me” when I feel insecure and “I shall fear nothing but God” when I’m scared.
